Philosophy:
In Asian Proverb, two brush strokes write the word 'crisis.' One brush
stroke stands for danger; the other for opportunity. In a crisis, be aware
of the danger - but recognize the opportunity.

This idea is constant throughout the Informal Philosophy, always be aware of
your surroundings as these surrounding create the image you see and project.

From conception INFORMAL has prided it self on being a Luxury Skateboard

Creative Director:
Growing up with a screen print facility in his living room, young David soon
learned production and design at it's most basic root. Seeing that hard work
does pay off when applied properly David chose to turn down a photography
scholarship to Emily Carr so he could follow in his mothers foot steps as an
entrepreneur. At the age of 21 David started his first clothing brand
"Payday Slacks" (93/95). Since then David has worked for many brands inside
the skate snow industry.
